LEGI sponsors Postdoctoral Fellowship to provide research opportunities for those who have earned a Ph.D. in an appropriate area in the past three years. The candidate is expected to interact with LEGI faculty in research projects of mutual interest.

Postdoctoral fellowship announcement at LEGI (Grenoble, France) 

The Laboratory of Geophysical and Industrial Flows (LEGI, http://www.legi.grenoble-inp.fr) is a public research laboratory of the University of Grenoble Alpes (France). It conducts various research activities in the fields of Fluid Mechanics and Transfer, such as Turbulence, Multiphase Flows, Fluid/Structure Interaction, Heat Transfer, … These research fields are studied by combining modeling, testing (more than 40 experimental facilities), high performance numerical simulation and the development of innovative measuring instruments. These activities are related to various societal challenges: environmental, energetic, health or process engineering issues.

LEGI sponsors Postdoctoral Fellowship to provide research opportunities for those who have earned a Ph.D. in an appropriate area in the past three years. The candidate is expected to interact with LEGI faculty in research projects of mutual interest. Applications for Fellowships are reviewed every year, and application material should be send to LEGI (email : legi-direction@legi.grenoble-inp.fr) before 1st June (to start at LEGI 1st October).

Postdoctoral Fellowship applications should include :
- Curriculum vitae
- Brief research proposal addressing a fundamental question or a novel engineering issue in the disciplinary areas of LEGI  (http://www.legi.grenoble-inp.fr)
- Two confidential letters of reference addressed directly to the Director. Author should send letter directly to legi-direction@legi.grenoble-inp.fr
