Early career scientist award of the American Geophysical Union
We are seeking nominations for the Donald L. Turcotte Award 2023, presented annually to an early-career or postdoctoral scientist in recognition of outstanding dissertation research that contributes directly to nonlinear geophysics. Notable contributions can include the awardee’s impact or potential impact of the research on the field of nonlinear geophysics. The award is presented at the Nonlinear Geophysics section ticketed event during the AGU Fall Meeting.

Nominations are submitted through the AGU online platform, Open Water. The link to the Section Award Submission site is: https://aguhonors.secure-platform.com/sfga
Folks would simply navigate to the Nonlinear Section in the dropdown list and then select ‘Turcotte Award’ to submit a nomination (by 12 April).
