One-year postdoctoral position at IMFT focusing on an experimental study of plastic transport and trapping in turbulent flows with sediments.

This offer is part of the research project « SPORT » (in French, Sédimentation de Particules intruses dans une suspensiOn de sédiments en Régime Turbulent), funded by the Carnot Institutes network (Isifor and IFPEN-RE), in collaboration between IMFT and IFPEN. This project focuses on the fate of particle suspensions composed of several phases in complex interactions with each other and with
turbulent flows, which is a fundamental issue both for understanding and characterizing geological systems, a central interest of ISIFoR, and for industrial techniques exploiting these resources.
